Surprisingly very easy way to keep avocado fresh for long time

Hello Friends,

How are you all doing? I am so annoyed with avocado. When I buy a bag of avocado, either they are very hard, green and unripe or they are so soft, black and over ripe. I never find which has perfect consistency of slightly green black skin and perfectly ripe from inside. If I keep it outside for few days they over ripe. So I read this trick somewhere and gave it a try and it worked perfectly.

Now I buy the bag of green avocado. After bringing home, I remove the end where the stem part was. I use the sharp edge of knife to slowly remove the end of the stem part and then keep it outside until it is slightly ripe. Then I will keep in the refrigerator until time to use. Avocado stays fresh for many days and also the pulp will be perfectly green when cut. You have to try to believe it!

I am sure you will love this idea same as I do.

  1. I too refrigerate avocados at the first sign of getting ripe. They keep well for a very long time. Ones I have forgotten about at the back of the refrigerator have become wrinkled on the outside but the flesh was as good as fresh with no blemishes.
