Berries are high source of antioxidants, dietary fiber, vitamin C and many more. We get berries all around the year but it is available in plenty during summer. I freeze them when they are cheaper so no need to buy frozen when expensive. They freeze very well. You can use berries in many recipes. Haha…writing this recipe while eating berries makes it so much easier 😄 😉 XD.
This smoothie is quick and easy to make. Tastes great and extremely nutritious. You can have it with breakfast, a perfect start for the day. Kids will enjoy it without realizing they ate fruit. This is also perfect for cooling in hot summer days. I am also adding strawberry flavoured whey protein which is good for after workout drink.
Preparation Time: less than 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Strawberry flavoured whey protein (optional)
Few Ice cubes
In a blender, add all ingredients. Blend it till smooth and you are done. Add water if needed to adjust consistency.
Serve this healthy, nutritious and refreshing cold smoothie immediately.
Must try this very easy to make smoothie during anytime of the year. It will make you feel refreshed and energized. You can add honey if you like more sweet.
