Peanut Butter

Dear Foodies,

We all love peanut butter no matter what age. I was planning to make peanut butter at home since I bought #Vitamix. Today decided to give it a try. It only needs one ingredient…you guessed it right 😉 😉 it’s peanuts!! It look me less than 5 minutes to prepare peanut butter. You will be surprise how fresh it taste and it has no preservatives. It has this natural sweetness. Peanuts are great source of Protein. Peanuts are also high source of Potassium, Dietary fiber, Iron, Vitamin D, Vitamin B6 and B12 and last but not least Magnesium. It does have high saturated fat but they are good for you if you eat in moderation.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 0 minutes

Ingredient:
Roasted skinless Peanuts

Procedure:

1. Grind roasted, skinless peanuts in a blender. You can use 1/2 honey roasted peanuts if you like it little sweet. Scrap the sides every few seconds. Blend until you see butter begin to flow using setting of your blender.

2. If you are using Vitamix, start with variable 1 and slowly increase to 10 and then high, using temper to press the ingredients into blade. In a minute you will hear high-pitched churning sound. Once the butter starts to flow freely through the blades, the motor sound will change and become low and laboring. Stop machine.

3. Store in an airtight container. It can also be frozen for later use.

4. Spread this protein pack fresh nutty peanut butter on bread, add it to the smoothie or use in recipes, your choice! Peanut Butter
