Bruschetta

Dear Friends,

Bruschetta is a perfect Italian starter. The flavour of sweet basil takes it to a next level. Baguette/French bread toasted with garlic butter is heavenly, isn’t it mouth-watering? This recipe serves 4-5 people as a starter.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes

Ingredients:
1 baguetta / French bread
1 big onion finely chopped
2 tomato chopped
10-12 sweet basil leaves chopped
1/4 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
1 cup grated cheese

Spread
100 grams soften butter
3-4 garlic cloves grated
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp chili flakes
2 tbsp olive oil

Procedure

1. Mix chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped basil, cumin powder and salt in a big bowl. Leave it on side.

2. In a small bowl, mix all the paste ingredients and mix well.

3. Cut the baguette lengthwise, spread the butter mixture on both pieces open side.

4. Heat over at 350F for 2-3 minutes. Bake the bread in hot oven for 7-8 minutes or until it is slightly crisp on the top.

5. Removed the baked bread from the oven. Now spread tomato mixture and grated cheese on both bread. Put these baguette back in the oven and bake for another 3-4 minutes or until cheese is slightly melted.

6. Serve this immediately with drinks. Everyone will enjoy the flavour of basil with garlic bread. We also had Dry Paneer Tikka on the side.
